Missed canals can be predictability found by extending access

Patient: 67 Year-Old Female in excellent health

Chief Complaint: asymptomatic

Dental History: The patient reported that her maxillary right first molar (Tooth #3) had been cracked. Her dentist started a crown restoration and found that the pulp was nonvital. After starting root canal treatment, her dentist found the roots to be calcified, failed to find all the canals, and then referred her to the author.
