Patient: 43 year-old female in excellent health
Chief Complaint: ”Cold sensitivity with the upper right back tooth”
Dental History: The patient reported a history of increasing cold sensitivity with some biting sensitivity associated with the maxillary right 2nd molar (Tooth #2). Her dentist had noticed a lateral crater radiolucency on the coronal third of the distobuccal root when taking a periapical radiograph and referred her to the author for an endodontic examination with testing
