Learn how to manage a large perforation near the osseous crest
Patient: 34 year old male in excellent health
Chief Complaint: Sensitivity when pushing over the gums of the front teeth
Dental History: The patient presented with a history of having had root canal treatment on his maxillary right and left central incisors. Post build-ups and crowns were also placed at that time. The patient’s new dentist referred him to the author for an endodontic evaluation noting inadequate previous root canal therapy and a post perforation on routine full mouth radiographs.
