Recalled Restorative Treatment Failure

Treatment failures are often multifactorial related to neglect, treatment planning and execution errors

Patient: 71 year-old male with arthritis and atrial fibrillation (2001)

Chief Complaint: History of pain before a pulpotomy had been performed (tooth #15). The patient was asymptomatic at the time of initial consultation

Dental History (tooth #15): The patient reported a history of having deep caries which was removed by is general dentist leading to a pulp exposure. A pulpotomy had been performed and the patient was referred to the author (2001)
