Patient: 58 year-old female

Chief Complaint: Gum sensitivity for one week duration

Dental History: The patient’s restorative dentist noticed a distocervical radiolucency associated with the maxillary left second molar (Tooth #15). The existing occlusal composite restoration was placed an unknown number of years earlier and there was no history of recent restorative dentistry having been performed.
