This lecture will focus on some decision making steps during endodontic clinical procedures in the dental office. Current standard of care requires the dentists to base their actions on a scientific evidence, and also to be able to put that evidence in clinical practice, while keeping the patient quality of life during the treatment in a central position. We will follow some important guidelines for clinical endodontics and will exemplify them with clinical cases which reflect the range of diagnosis and treatment spectrum of a general dental office.

Dr. Cristescu graduated from the Dental Medicine School UMF Carol Davila, Bucharest in 2004, then received his Master’s degree in biomaterials at Politechnics University Bucharest in 2006. He received his specialization in endodontics at ACTA, Amsterdam, The Netherlands in 2011. He is currently has a practice limited to endodontics in Amsterdam and is an associate clinical teacher at Warwick Dentistry, Warwick Medical School, UK. He is an international lecturer and has published numerous articles on endodontics.
