There are a surprising number of situations in which endodontic treatment can enhance the outcome of implant treatment. Dr. Schwartz will present a series of clinical cases in which: Questionable teeth (including teeth with infections) were temporarily retained to obtain optimal results during the grafting process; endodontic treatment was used to regenerate native bone prior to extraction and implant placement; severely compromised teeth were maintained in adolescents until they were old enough for implant placement. He will present some creative solutions you might not have considered.

Course Outline

  1. Scenarios in which endodontic treatment should be considered in the implant treatment plan.
  2. How to maintain teeth that are structurally compromised yet useful.
  3. Timing and sequencing of treatment.
