Patient: 55 year old male in excellent health

Chief Complaint" Asymptomatic (referred by dentist for examination of suspected chronic abscess revealed on routine dental radiographic exam (Tooth #19)

Dental History: The patient presented with a previously treated mandibular left first molar having had previous endodontic treatment with a porcelain fused to metal crown (5 years prior to the time of initial examination). The patient reported that an instrument had been separated during the previous endodontic procedure.
